How long will my move take?
Each move is different and varies in length. When we give you a quote we will provide an estimated time length.
What can I do to make the move smooth?
A few things:
- Make sure to box up EVERYTHING prior to moving day. When there’s a lot of loose or small items that could have been boxed up not in boxes it can take extra time. Also, the more prepared you are, the quicker the move will go.
- Stay close by to help the movers know where items are going.
How should I pay for the move?
We accept cash, check, or credit/debit card at the end of the move.
Do I tip the movers?
Tipping is not necessary but is greatly appreciated. If our movers exceed your expectations, gratuity is gladly appreciated.
When should I contact you for a quote?
You can contact us for a quote whenever you feel you are ready. But the sooner the notice the easier it will be to work around your schedule and ours.
Are you insured?
Goal Line Moving is licensed and insured. We meet all MNDOT requirements for moving companies in Minnesota.
Is there anything you cannot move?
We cannot take liquid products unless they are in a plastic container. We also recommend that you filter out all gas from lawn mowers and any other equipment. We also can’t take live ammunition.
Is there a cancel or reschedule fee?
If something unexpected comes up and you need to change dates or cancel, please let us know as soon as you can! Rescheduling or cancelling your move within 48 hours of your reserved date will result in a 2 hour-minimum charge.
